Look under “jeunesse” in the navigation bar and you will find many wonderful things! Not only do they have good Catholic books from reputable publishers, but they also have some nice secular things, like Brambly Hedge and Beatrix Potter in French, as well as some books about nature and science, and some old reprints of things that I think look very interesting.
What I usually do is then search for that book on Amazon.ca and see if there is a reasonably priced used copy. Rarely do I actually ship a book directly from a French publisher, although Chiré does ship internationally. I’ve noticed lately that Amazon has more and more French things on it that I can buy from third party sellers, like Momox and Recyclivre. Don’t forget to also check and see if Lireka has what you want. I have occasionally found things on Lireka for cheaper than Amazon. Occasionally there are things on Les Libraires Canada, too.
This website also has a ton of Christmas books. It is very hard to find Christmas books for kids that aren’t about Santa and other secular traditions, even more so in French! Next Christmas, take a look at Chiré and see what you can find used on Amazon.
